Kath accuses me from time to time of being a bit obsessive about things being just so. That I am a bit anal. Dude, I got noth'n on Mr. Wright. This guy was so particular about the smallest of details and an absolute perfectionist about where things should go. As a result, I absolutely loved Fallingwater, one of Frank Lloyd Wrights most famous works located in the hills south of Pittsburgh.
Fallingwater was commisioned by the Kaufman family and was used as a summer home. They originally asked Wright to build a home near their favorite spot on the small steam you see in the photos. But rather than building it near, he built it directly over the stream and blended the home in with the surroundings in true organic style. To see more Fallingwater photos click here.
