During the Japanese "Silver Week" (where three holidays fall during the same week), we decided to take the family to Beijing. Our friends in Japan set us up with all the details with where to stay and what to see and who to use as a tour guide. We are on Day 2 of our trip and so far it has been a perfect trip. We are staying at the Grand Hyatt and they have the most amazing pool we have ever encountered. We were unable to get any decent pictures because of the lighting. Our first day began with a gorgeous clear day (no smog!) So we went to the Great Wall and were thrilled to say the least of how beautiful it was.
Dylan climbed and climbed - he was on a great adventure!
Brycen loves to get a hold of a peach and munch and munch. Don't even try to take it away from him, it's his prize possession. Japan's peaches are so tasteful and juicy - it's like eating candy.
Brycen fell asleep holding himself up on our way home from school yesterday. He was TIRED, he got up at 4:30am and stayed awake until 9:15am. He has turned into a big morning napper 2.5-3hrs but the afternoon when brother is home, he will take the obligatory half hour nap but doesn't want to miss any fun that brother Dylan is having - he is usually fast asleep by 6:30pm!
Dylan began his first day of the Butterfly Class at ABC International School yesterday. His teachers names are Angela, Nick and Akiko. When I went to pick up Dylan from school he informed me that he had invited a new friend, Charlie, to his house. They apparently hit it off when they were playing astronauts together. Brothers together.
