Today, Dylan had the graduation from the Ladybug class at ABC International School in Tokyo. He still has two more years at the school but every class is graduated to the next class. The class sang two cute songs, one in English and one in Japanese and then they were handed a medal, a certificate, a yearbook and an art portfolio from the entire year. The children did a fantastic job and were so well behaved. Next year he will be in the Beetle Class which is a really BIG deal if you were to ask Dylan! Currently, Dylan is trying hard to be a very big boy. As many of you know, the boy hates to eat. One his recent school projects was planting a sunflower and watering it and watching it grow. Well, he is convinced that the only thing that will make you grow is Water. Food doesn't make you grow, water does. He will stand his ground on this one. We bought him a soccer jersey the other day about 2 sizes too big but it was a good deal...so he found this jersey and put it on, it's down to his knees and tells us that it's too big. We tell him he needs to eat his veggies and fruits to make him grow. Nope, water makes you grow. He went upstairs found his water bottle and downed it. He wanted to grow right then and there into is new soccer jersey. Throughout the day, he drank as much water as he could. We can't wait for the day Dylan figures out that food is not the enemy!
