Grandma and Her Boys

Grandma obviously loves her grandson, Dylan, but who knew she could ever love her granddog as much as she does.  She has enjoyed having Max around, despite the mounds of furballs and dirt he tracks in.  Max will come to Tokyo with us this weekend.  We are excited to have him be with us once again.  Thanks for taking wonderful care of Max -Leo, Kara, Grandma and Papa!

Get Well Soon, Ashley!

First Stop - Pittsburgh

Time is flying.  I can't believe we only have three days left in Pittsburgh.  We arrived eleven days ago and we haven't stopped going and going.  Dylan has had fun playing with his cousins Ashley, Kirsten, Zachary and Jonathan.  I think his cousins are absolutely beautiful, inside and out, precious and full of life.  It has been a joy seeing them play together.  Dylan also has enjoyed getting to know Jo-Jo and PaPa better.  He loves all the attention he gets from them and showing them all the new things he can do.  I have been enjoying visiting with everyone as well but I must say the shopping has been extraordinarily fun.  I'm worried about getting through customs with my loot!

Barcelona

Last week I was called on to attend a meeting that was rather unexpected, in Barcelona, Spain of all places.  You would think that with an empty house at home, I would be chomping at the bit for a chance to go somewhere in Europe to which I had never been, but I wasn't really wanting to travel. 

Now that I have gone and come back, I'm glad I went.  It was a great experience, and Barcelona is a great city.  To add to it, I got to meet Ronaldinho, go to an FCBarcelona soccer match, and get a tour of the stadium.

On Friday afternoon, I was able to go see some sites after my work was done.  I must say that Barcelona is really a very beautiful city.  The Gaudy buildings are incredible. Here is a link to some more pictures.
