Our baby boy is turning 2 years old tomorrow. I've been working on video clips and found this one from about a year ago. We can't believe how much he has grown in just a year! This clip also reminds us how much we all miss Max, even Dylan who loved to play with him. Yesterday started the 180 day waiting period for Max to join us in Tokyo. We are anxiously awaiting his arrival!
Let's just say, Greg didn't go to beauty school and neither did I. BUT Greg wanted to play barber, none-the-less. Dylan sat through the tortue with a sucker in one hand a Dora the Explorer DVD case in the other with his eyes glued to the computer screen. Greg clipped and snipped, snipped and buzzed. I documented the butchering. After it was all said and done, Greg did a decent job considering he is a rookie.
This past weekend was a fun and active one- dinner out with friends on Friday night, Children's Museum Saturday, trip to the electronics store, swimming, and one of our neighbors came over who happens to be a diplomat from France. We visited with her, her husband and her two little girls. Here are a few pictures to appease the grandparents:
With a new place in the world comes new weather. Up until today, that weather has pretty much been hot. Tonight the hot turned into a whole lot of wind and a whole lot of rain. We're told it will blow through by morning, and we hope it does. There's not much to do outside when the wind is blowing 80mph and pouring rain. Here's a little picture of the storm pretty much parked over Tokyo.
He's not quite ready for it yet but we put his big boy bed together the other day. He saw it and and went crazy over the trucks. Now we have to lock the door to this room because all he wants to do is be on the top bunk with "PaPa's Trucks Pillows". He can get up and down without hesitation but Mom and Dad aren't so comfortable with it yet!
