Dad...The Best Job in the World

Sometimes being a dad, means you're an airplane.

Sometimes you're a jungle gym.

And sometimes you're the backstop.  Whatever it is, it's just plain awesome.

Dylan turns One today!

He woke up with a huge smile on his face as if he knew what was happening today.  Dylan turned one today.  He celebrated with all the kids at Kindermusik.  His teacher, Miss Janet, gave all the babies balloons and we sang to Dylan.  We ended the day in style with a birthday party fit for a king.  The cake was spectacular.  Mom baked and Dad decorated.  He was all smiles even when it came time to open presents (in his little head you could tell he was thinking - all I want to do is go to bed!)  Dylan was a trooper all day through all the excitement .  He walked the most he has ever walked - he is most proud of that skill.  Happy 1st Birthday, Dylan!

Dylan is ready for every Steelers game thanks to his Uncle John and Aunt Gretchen who sent him this jersey imported from the 'Burgh.  He has a terrible towel too and a picture of Big Ben in his room (also compliments of his aunt and uncle) Thanks!

The Walking Man- At 11 months old, Dylan took his first steps on August 30th.  Since then, he has been on strike - me no walk!
